We Can’t Wait To Have You!
Enrolling in our programs starts with a conversation with the Director at your campus of interest and, if you haven’t already visited the site, scheduling a facility tour. Then you will complete an enrollment packet and get ready for your loved one’s first day as an AEC member!
We believe communication and transparency are key to both member health and well being and caregiver peace of mind. If you have any questions, please reach out – we are here to support your family.
Tips For Easy Enrollment
Complete the enrollment interest form for the appropriate AEC program:
- Thrive | Adult Day Health Care
- Renew | Adult Day Health Care
- School of the Arts | Neurodiversity Programming
Meet with the Center Director at the appropriate AEC campus to discuss an individual care plan, including attendance schedule, personal preferences, nursing (if applicable) and anticipated assistance needs, transportation requirements, and social and physical activities. Please bring your loved one’s:
- Medications
- Health insurance cards
- Picture ID (or recent picture)
- Form of payment
Program fees are due in advance.
- Funding assistance may be available. Refunds may be issued in special circumstances. Connect with the Center Director for more information.

Cassandra Murray, Assistant Director
Thrive | Adult Day Health Care
Cassie has been a member of the AEC family since 2009. Her “passion for people” has led her to roles across all of our campuses, and today she is proud to serve as Assistant Director of Thrive. Cassie is originally from Manning, SC and moved to Rock Hill to pursue a Psychology degree from Winthrop University.

Abby Childers, Director
Renew | Adult Day Health Care
Abby worked for Council for Children’s Rights and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools before joining the AEC team. After experiencing the stress of healthcare for her children and grandfather, she recognized the need for day programs: “I hope Renew can make those transitions and hard days a little less rough and a bit brighter for our families.”

Lydia Wylie, Assistant Director
School of the Arts | Neurodiversity Programming
Lydia has long had a heart for caregiving and an intense respect for people of all abilities. As a teenager, she cared after her grandparents every day after school. When it came time for college, Lydia’s path was clear and she earned her degree in Physical Therapy from South University. Lydia has been a vital AEC team member since 2009.
