At AEC, we subscribe to the African proverb: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
Since the founding of our organization in 1985, we have been committed to working together for the greater good of our community – with our ultimate goal being to help create a world where individuals of all abilities thrive. Sometimes shifting sands, like the 2008 financial crisis and COVID-19, have required us to be nimble, but we’ve always rallied and pivoted as a collective.
