Chief Operating Officer​

Venus has demonstrated servant leadership throughout her entire career in every role she has undertaken. A native South Carolinian, she spent her youth traveling the world as part of a military family, volunteering in nursing homes, tutoring students, and helping where needed. Her work experience is nuanced and varied.

Venus taught school for several years especially helping youth with learning challenges, exercised her entrepreneurial spirit as she opened and ran several businesses, and, after moving to Savannah, Georgia, she became a legal assistant to a Social Security Attorney. Their office also provided information to help with housing, free clinics, medical expenses, and other advice to enable clients to continue living productive lives while waiting for their disability hearing and award.

In 2022, when the office closed due to retirement, Venus transitioned to the Executive Assistant for Adult Enrichment Centers’s CEO, Samantha Kriegshauser. Ready to take on more responsibility and utilize her experience, in 2023, Venus became the Chief Operating Officer for Adult Enrichment Centers (AEC). In this role, she has worked with the Board Governance Committee and written and implemented many policies to aid the smooth running of AEC. She strives to be the staff’s voice and make AEC a pleasant place to work and experience.
